AsBuilt was formed out of real engineering work—not marketing ideas.
Our roots trace back to Acensium, an engineering firm founded in 2003 by Jason Schwartz and Jason Adkins. While delivering engineering services across complex industrial facilities, the team repeatedly encountered the same problem: decisions were being made using drawings that didn’t reflect reality.
Laser scanning and reality capture became the solution—but only when paired with engineering judgment, validation, and accountability.
AsBuilt exists to bridge that gap. We don’t just capture data. We turn real-world conditions into dependable inputs teams can design, coordinate, and execute against with confidence.
