The Challenge
A microbrewery required accurate as-built documentation of its existing facility to support ongoing operations, maintenance, and future expansion. The available design package no longer reflected actual field conditions, and the lack of current P&IDs and 3D models made planning, troubleshooting, and training increasingly difficult as production demand grew.
The Solution
AsBuilt captured the true as-is conditions of the microbrewery using high-resolution 3D laser scanning. The scan data was processed into a detailed point cloud and converted into accurate 3D and BIM models that reflected the operational reality of the facility. Updated P&IDs were developed directly from the as-built conditions, providing the brewery with reliable documentation for day-to-day maintenance, capacity planning, and workforce training.
