AsBuilt of a Combustor Bypass Valve Relocation

AsBuilt used 3D laser scanning to capture the as-built conditions of a combustor bypass valve compartment, enabling precise design and a comprehensive drawing package for valve relocation.

The Challenge
AsBuilt was contracted for the design of a combustor bypass valve relocation. The scope included re-routing control oil supply and return piping to/from the CT combustor bypass valve actuator for easier access to the associated block valves.

The Solution
3D laser scanning was utilized to capture the as-built conditions of the compartment and surrounding infrastructure. The scan data was processed and converted into a 3D model to support the design process. The model helped inform the development of a drawing package and Statement of Work (SOW) document for the client, ensuring accurate relocation planning and pipe modifications.
