The Challenge
AsBuilt was contracted for point cloud development and solid modeling of a glass plant to create accurate representations of the facility’s structure and layout.
The Solution
AsBuilt performed laser scanning of all areas of interest within the plant. The resulting point cloud was used to confirm key structural elements, including doorways, steel columns, beams, bracing, and the overall dimensions of the building. The data also helped verify the relationship between the building and its surrounding site layout.
