The Challenge
A power facility required precise as-built data for a crusher replacement project. However, the facility owner lacked accurate drawings of the existing equipment arrangement, making design and planning more challenging.
The Solution
AsBuilt conducted a comprehensive laser scan of the crusher house and all associated coal handling equipment. The scan data was processed to create a detailed 3D model. Additionally, supplemental scanning was performed onsite to align the point cloud and model with the existing plant grid, ensuring accuracy and seamless integration with the facility’s infrastructure.
