The Challenge
AsBuilt was contracted for the fabrication and installation support of a Limestone Silo at a power plant. The plant needed to install a newly fabricated limestone silo to replace a damaged one, ensuring precise fabrication and installation as per the design.
The Solution
Asbuilt provided on-site fabrication inspection at the fabricator's facility to verify the accuracy of the fabricated equipment. During these inspections, the as-fabricated equipment was 3D laser scanned and modeled. The as-fabricated model was then compared directly to the as-designed model, and a thorough deviation analysis was conducted to identify any out-of-tolerance issues.
