AsBuilt was contracted to 3D laser scan a client's property to develop floor plans and 3D models.
The Solution
AsBuilt 3D laser scanned the entire house, incorporating all structural, equipment, and utility details to create as-built 3D models. We processed the scan data, performed quality assurance checks, and prepared the point clouds for modeling. 3D modeling was used to convert the point cloud data into shapes representing structural members, key equipment, utilities, and other relevant items. Models were checked against the point cloud for accuracy and delivered in the agreed format.
