The Challenge
AsBuilt was contracted for point cloud development and solid modeling of a fire protection building at a power plant. The project required capturing precise laser scan data to create accurate models for the building's structure and utilities.
The Solution
AsBuilt provided all necessary personnel and equipment to perform laser scanning of the fire protection building located in the switch yard. The scan captured all structural, equipment, and utility details. The data was post-processed and developed into a point cloud, which was then used to create a 3D model of the building for further analysis and planning.
