The Challenge
A power plant was replacing an existing acid tank and associated piping. The legacy documentation did not reflect current field conditions, creating risk around fit-up, interferences, and fabrication accuracy during replacement.
The Solution
AsBuilt performed high-resolution 3D laser scanning of the acid tank, surrounding piping, and adjacent structures to capture true as-is conditions. The scan data was used to develop a complete isometric drawing package, enabling accurate design, fabrication, and installation of the replacement system with confidence.
