The Challenge
A plant was planning the design and construction of a new pipe bridge to convey power lines from an existing substation into the facility. The project required precise as-built information of the surrounding area to ensure proper alignment, clearance, and integration with existing structures, equipment, and utilities. Incomplete or outdated drawings introduced risk to the design process and could have led to field conflicts or rework during construction.
The Solution
AsBuilt performed comprehensive 3D laser scanning of the proposed pipe bridge corridor, capturing all visible structural elements, equipment, and utilities within the area of interest. The scan data was processed into a high-accuracy point cloud and converted into a detailed 3D as-built model. This digital representation provided the engineering and construction teams with a reliable, real-world reference to support layout validation, clearance checks, and confident design of the new pipe bridge prior to fabrication and installation.

Deliverables
- Raw scan data
- Post-processed point cloud
- Photorealistic 3D view
- 3D As-Build model (DWG)
